He studied at the University of Southern California, where he earned his MBA. He got his bachelor’s from the Technion.

After graduating from the University of California, Adam Milstein went into the real estate industry. He started off as a sales agent at Hager Pacific Properties. He also learned about the practice of giving maaser, which means that you give a tenth of your earnings to charity. Adam Milstein therefore, in 2000, started the Adam and Gila Milstein Foundation. As the name suggests, he started it together with his wife, Gila. Another charitable organization that he started at the same time is called Sifriyat Pijama B’America.

These books help them connect with their roots and their traditions. There are over fifteen thousand families that take part in the Sifriyat Pijama B’America program.

Seven years later, Adam Milstein started the Israeli American Council. The Israeli American Council focuses on strengthening the ties between the two countries of Israel and America. In addition, it focuses on strengthening the ties between the Jewish communities in Israel and America, and the communities in Israel and America in general.
