Jason Halpern’s childhood was full of frequent visits to construction locations in Westchester County, in the company of his father. Later, he would attend several meetings with architects and marketing teams. His love for real estate would ultimately see him establish JMH Development. Basically, JMH Development is a renowned real estate company with vast experience as a developer and proprietor of renowned commercial and residential properties throughout the U.S. Jason Halpern has the drive and passion for creating unique, innovative premium properties in his role as JMH Development’s pioneer and managing partner.

At the moment, Jason is juggling several projects in Miami and New York. According to Halpern, he is attracted to property developments that are unique from an architectural point of view. He further adds that he likes challenges and mentions the example of 184 Kent, where the refurbishment of an ancient warehouse converted the building into 338 new residential units. The building has witnessed high tenancy since lease up in 2010. One of Halpern’s proud moments as a real estate magnate was when the unique 184 Kent was recognized with a Building Brooklyn Accolade for its respect of the Brooklyn community when developing 184 Kent.

In neighboring Cobble Hill, an attractive and highly sought after neighborhood, Jason Halpern has joined hands with developer Gerard Longo to put up a set of 9 townhouses. 4 of the units are being constructed from an existing building while 5 are being constructed ground-up. Each home features a gas fireplace, laundry room, and chef kitchen fitted with sub-zero appliances. What’s more, the homes will enjoy private yards in the backyard and outstanding views of the East River.

In South Beach Florida, Jason Halpern is constructing a full-service hotel. This project entails the renovation of an ancient hotel. In conjunction with partner Mitchell Hochberg, Jason plans to refurbish the existing building and add 8 new floors on the property. When completed, the hotel is expected to provide top class amenities for its guests.

Jason takes part in philanthropy and dedicates his time to the Joel A. Halpern Trauma Center. This facility provides medical services for open-heart surgery, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. The center also treats burn victims, expectant women and kids, among others. When not at work, Halpern spends much time with his 11-year-old son.
